One of the amazing ways the event fundraises for the local community are the ticket sales. Every year in January we sell the 280 tickets in less than 18 minutes – 2025 raised the bar with all tickets sold in 15 minutes, this enables them to take part in the parade and park on the Kinecroft.
All the lucky ticket holders then drive their vehicles around the town in convoy with spectators waving as they pass by. Many Wallingford residents are sat in their driveways in deckchairs while watching the vehicles drive past. The town centre is packed with an audience of similar folk with a huge cheer when a random supermarket delivery van comes past.
Buying Tickets and Infomation
Our parade and Kinecroft parking tickets for May 2026 were incredibly popular and sold out in just 8 minutes! (these went on sale on the 30/01/26 at 8pm)
If you’re not successful first time, don’t worry, we also offer Golden Tickets at a slightly higher price. These usually take a little longer to sell and help us raise even more money for charity. (these sold out in 3 days)
Vehicle tickets for 2027 will be available via a unique link on our FAQ page from January 2027 (date TBC) (motorbike tickets will be sold seperatly in Feb)
The link will also be shared on our Facebook and Instagram pages, and sent by email to those on our mailing list from the previous year.

Parade Route
The event starts at 10am with the parade of vehicles leaving Wallingford Sports Park (Hithercroft Road OX10 9RB), along St John’s Road and into the Market Place. The convoy will then head along Reading Road, around the bypass and back in to Wallingford along Wantage Road, Station Road and parking up at The Kinecroft (High Street OX10 0DB).
